Commissioner Ron Davis
congratulates Angelos G.
Angelou for the Helios
Solar
Farm project in Eastern Travis
County in Precinct 1.
"The Solar Farm being
planned for Eastern Travis
County by
RRE Austin Solar
LLC represents the largest
such investment in Texas
and the US. At 60 MW of
electric generation this plant
is capable of powering up to
30,000 homes.  It is clean,
environmentally friendly and
is green.  This project would
not have happened without
Travis County's support
which was spearheaded by
Commissioner Ron Davis
and whose district has been
selected as the location of
this solar farm."

Angelos G. Angelous -
Principal AngelouEconomics
"Commissioner Davis has aggressively
pursued job growth and economic
development for East Austin."

David Armbrust
Armbrust & Brown, LLP
"Commissioner Davis was
instrumental in making the
largest inter-basin ground water
transport project ever done in the
State of Texas. Recognizing the
importance of the project to
Eastern Travis County's
economic development, Ron
organized the ground breaking
for
Cross County  Water Supply's
ShadowGlen  terminus in April of
2010.  Commissioner Davis rolled
up his sleeves, got a shovel and
stuck it in the ground to make
Cross County happen, which will
bring millions of gallons of water
to the Manor Area and help it
grow."
