Travis County Commissioner      "In Touch with Our Community"
Counter
Resources  brought to Travis County Residents

Commissioner Davis championed a bond-issuance resolution for the funding
of a non-profit corporation to build a 53-mile pipeline that will bring a high-
quality supply of water to the residents of Eastern Travis County, resulting
in a potential 18 million additional gallons of water per day for County
residents.

Commissioner Davis supported and approved over $200,000 in funding to
assist the residents of the Plainview Subdivision, (which is adjacent to
Austin Colony) in providing requested water services to their community.

Commissioner Davis played a vital role on the team assisting the residents
of Kennedy Ridge in securing over $3.1 million dollars for the
unincorporated Community of Kennedy Ridge for wastewater, water lines
drainage, road improvements, and utility relocation.

Commissioner Davis supported and approved $4.5 million in American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Grant funding to provide home
weatherization assistance to low-income Travis County residents.

Commissioner Davis was the first local elected official to speak before the
State Congressional Redistricting Committee Public Hearing in opposition to
the state’s redistricting plan.

Thank you for your continued
support in helping me bring much
needed resources to Travis County
Residents.

Your contribution will help us
continue to be a voice for the
community.
