Biography of Commissioner Davis

Ron Davis was elected to the Travis
County Commissioners Court in 1998. He
represents Precinct One, the northeast
quadrant of our county, including East
Austin.
Ron grew up in East Austin where he was
raised by his grandparents, the Rev. &
Mrs. S.L. Davis. Before joining the
Commissioners Court, Ron was known for
his accomplishments in the community
including keeping an Austin Community
College campus in East Austin and forcing
major oil companies to move their tank
farms out of East Austin neighborhoods.
